Chatham-Kent Falls Prevention Committee is a
community-based committee established in 1996.
The Falls Prevention Committee is mandated:
- To
facilitate a “fall safe” approach to the
health, lifestyle and environment of older
persons
- To
increase the number of active seniors
participating in education, awareness and
physical activities that will reduce their
risks of falls
- To
increase seniors’ independent living in the
community
The
Chatham-Kent Falls Prevention Committee is a
multi-disciplinary and richly diversified group.
